Sydney Vanderlinden

is an American artist who works mainly in digital and film photography as well as book making and installation. Her work explores themes of asexuality, horror, death, and reality versus imagination. Vanderlinden was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and grew up in Menasha, Wisconsin. She currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois where she is completing her BFA in Photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has previously exhibited in group shows at local venues such as The Source: Public House (2016) and Harmony Café (2015). Her most recent show was at the Sullivan Galleries in Chicago for the Undergraduate Exhibition (2020).
